AP: PMRAHAT Scheme is boon to road accident victims: Minister

Vijayawada, Apr 16 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Minister for Health Satya Kumar Yadav has said that the Prime Minister Road Accident Hospitalization and Assured Treatment Scheme (PMRAHAT) will be a boon for road accident victims as it provides Rs. 1.50 lakh worth of cashless quality medical treatment.
He was speaking at the consultation committee meeting of PMRAHATS, held in the Dr. NTR Health University auditorium here on Thursday.
“All government departments should work in coordination to implement the PMRAHAT Scheme successfully in the State. Hospitals, ambulance, police and other departments should work in coordination and efficiently to ensure that financial burden should not fall on the road accident victim. All hospitals must be aware of the scheme,” the Health Minister observed.
