AP: Opposition YSRCP sees larger conspiracy in adulterated ghee issue

Vijayawada, March 7 (UNI) The Opposition in Andhra Pradesh, the YSRCP, today affirmed that a larger conspiracy has unfolded behind allegations of the supply of adulterated ghee to the hill shrine Tirumala for laddu prasadam was tailored to suit the political and economic interests of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, if the timeline of the sequence of events are carefully looked into.

Speaking to media here, Party State Coordinator, Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy charged that there was a larger conspiracy and adulterated ghee scam of about Rs 200 crore by rigging the tenders and hiking the prices exorbitantly and awarding the bid to the favoured persons.
