AP Minister: Innovative reforms being implemented in welfare hostels

Vijayawada, Aug 12 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Minister for Social Welfare and Senior Citizen Welfare Dola Bala Veeranjaneya Swamy has said that innovative reforms are being implemented in social welfare hostels and Rs 293 crore has been released for the construction of new hotels and to carry out repairs to the existing hostel buildings.

The Minister held a regional conference in Tummalapalli auditorium here on Wednesday. Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said that the government has released Rs 143 crore to carry out required repairs to the social welfare hostels, Rs 100 crore for the construction of new buildings for welfare hostels, and the Swachhand Corporation has released Rs 50 crore.
