AP: Khariff paddy to be purchased through 277 Rythu Seva Kendras: Kakinada JC

Kakinada (Andhra Pradesh), Oct 10 (UNI) Kakinada Joint Collector Rahul Meena on Thursday said that arrangements were being made to purchase Khariff paddy through 277 Rythu Seva Kendras (RSKs) in Kakinada district.
Addressing the mandal level staff over the paddy purchase process at a meeting held at the Collectorate here, Meena said the paddy purchase committee constituted at mandal level with Tahasildar as incharge would arrange the necessary staff, wet percentage measuring machines and gunny bags at the Rythu Seva Kendras .
The committee also take steps to eliminate middlemen and also save the farmers from losing in the hands of the rice millers.
