AP Health Minister hails allocation of Rs 19,306 Cr. to Health sector

Vijayawada, Feb 14 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Health Minister Satya Kumar Yadav today welcomed the allocation of Rs 19,306.04 crore to the Health sector in the 2026–27 financial budget, marking a 9.5 per cent increase of Rs 1,669 crore over the revised estimates of Rs 17,637.24 crore for 2025–26.

In a statement here, the Minister said that the allocation constitutes 5.81 per cent of the total state budget and places the Health Department fourth among all departments in terms of fund allocation, after Education, BC Welfare, Panchayat Raj and Rural Development.
