AP govt. to expand coffee cultivation on another one lakh acres

Vijayawada, Jan 17 (UNI) The Andhra Pradesh Government has taken steps to expand the coffee cultivation on one lakh acres more in the Paderu agency area.
According to official sources, coffee crops are cultivated on over 2.50 lakh acres at Paderu, Araku and Chintapalli regions in the combined Visakhapatnam district.
Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu agreed to bring another one lakh acres under coffee cultivation in the regions in the next five years. The government will encourage farmers to take up coffee cultivation by providing incentives.
