AP Govt. aimed to make 5 lakh women entrepreneurs: Minister

Vijayawada, May 13 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Minister for SERP and Rural Poverty Elimination Kondapalli Srinivas has reiterated that the government has aimed to create over 5 lakh women entrepreneurs and directed the officials to coordinate and extend all required help to the women.
The Minister held a meeting with the SERP officials and reviewed various issues here on Wednesday. Speaking on the occasion, the Minister emphasized that training should be imparted to artisans and handicrafts to improve their skills.
The Minister also directed the officials to promote rearing of cattle to make producing dairy products as main livelihood. He told the officials to take steps to provide training to Self Help Group Women who own more than five milch cattle and impart them training to create their own brand, milk procurement marketing and bottling.

Hyderabad, June 9 (UNI): Doctors at Kamineni Hospitals on Tuesday said that they have successfully reconstructed the jaw of a 39-year-old man using bone and tissue from his leg after oral cancer caused by a prolonged history of gutkha chewing and smoking destroyed a portion of his jawbone.
