AP: DRI rescues 396 endangered turtles in Vizag; Two arrested

Visakhapatnam, Mar 27 (UNI) The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) successfully rescued 396 Indian Tent, Indian Roofed, and Indian Crowned Turtles from illegal trafficking activities in Visakhapatnam.
Two individuals have been apprehended in connection with the smuggling operation.
Acting on specific intelligence, DRI officers conducted surveillance at the Railway Station in Visakhapatnam on Wednesday. During the operation, two passengers travelling from Shalimar station were identified as suspects.
