AP: Cyber Security awareness held for industrial units in Sri City

Sri City (Tirupati district), Nov 8 (UNI) The District Police Department and the Cyber Crime Wing in collaboration with Sri City organized an awareness session on ‘Cyber Crime & Cyber Security’ for IT and Human Resource Managers of various industrial units here in Sri City, an integrated business city and special economic zone, on Friday.
The session featured a detailed presentation by I.L. Narashima Rao, Cyber Security Expert, in Hyderabad, who addressed cyber threats and preventive strategies.
Addressing the current cyber threats, financial fraud tactics, computer hacking, and the growing need for digital vigilance, Narashima Rao noted that investment scams and relationship frauds often target personal information from social media platforms like WhatsApp, YouTube, and Facebook, using it to instill a 'fear of arrest.'
