AP: CPI demands welfare board for unorganised sector workers

Kakinada, July 14 (UNI) The CPI state executive member Thatipaka Madhu has demanded that the government constitute a comprehensive welfare board for unorganised sector workers, especially the Hamali auto workers, besides building construction workers.
Addressing the Railway Hamali workers at the Goods Yard in Samalkot today, he demanded not only welfare boards but also allocation of adequate funds be made in the budget .
He said several agitations were held in the past for the constitution of welfare Board under the auspices of the AITUC.
