AP: Congress condemns attack on CJI, demands apology from Law Minister

Vijayawada, Oct 6 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) Vice-president Kolanukonda Shivaji vehemently condemned the attack of Chief Justice of India BR Gavai in the Supreme Court and demanded an apology from the union Law Minister.

Talking to the media here on Monday, Kolanukonda Shivaji suspected a conspiracy behind the attack on the Chief Justice of India. The Congress leader demanded an apology from the union Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal for his failure in providing proper security to the Chief Justice of India.

Bengaluru, June 13 (UNI) The Karnataka High Court has dismissed a public interest litigation (PIL) challenging the State government's decision to allot four acres of land from the Karnataka Veterinary Animal and Fisheries Sciences University (KVAFSU) campus at Hebbal for the construction of official residences for High Court judges, observing that several judges are currently living in rented accommodation due to a shortage of official housing.
