AP: Centre releases Rs 567 C r. Grant, Health Minister hails

Vijayawada, Jan 13 (UNI) The Central Government has released Rs 567 crore Grant for the health ministry of Andhra Pradesh on the recommendations of 15 th Finance Commission, and Health Minister Satya Kumar Yadav hailed it.
Andhra Pradesh has been successful in getting the total Grant of Rs 2,600 crore recommended by the 15th Finance Commission for the health sector in the State. As part of this, the 15th and final tranche of Rs 567.40 crore Grant for the current financial year was released to AP by the Centre on Monday, Health Minister Satyakumar Yadav said in a press release here on Tuesday.
The Minister said that Andhra Pradesh has achieved the distinction of achieving the full allocation of 15th Finance Commission funds, adding that so far only Tamil Nadu and Tripura have achieved this distinction.
