AP: APCC voices concern over delimitation bill

Vijayawada, Apr 16 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) Vice-president Kolanakonda Shivaji has expressed concern over the delimitation bill which was introduced in the Parliament on Thursday.
Talking to the media here on Thursday, he said the delimitation process should be transparent, impartial and constitutional. It should be based on criteria such as population and equal representation, and not on political gains and losses.
“We urge the Central government to bring the full details of these proposals to the public and hold comprehensive discussions with all sections. Changing the democratic system for political gains will damage public trust,” Shivaji observed.
