American citizen arrested from India-Nepal border

Motihari, Apr 25 (UNI) An American citizen was arrested from Raxaul border in Bihar on the India-Nepal border, official sources said on Friday.
The sources said here that the Immigration Department caught him for illegally staying in India and trying to sneak into Nepal. The arrested person has been identified as Etan (42). He is a resident of Ben city in Virginia province of America.
According to the source, Etan carried an American passport, which was valid till August 29 2033. The passport was issued by the United States on 30 August 2023. He came to India on a tourist visa, which had a duration of 180 days.
