Amarnath pilgrimage not to be allowed through railway, 60 RFID centres functional in 5 districts: Jammu DC

Jammu, June 27 (UNI) Jammu Divisional Commissioner Ramesh Kumar on Friday said that Shri Amarnath Yatra will not be allowed through railways while 60 RFID centres are established at five prominent districts in the Jammu region.
"Yatra will not be allowed through the railway. It will be allowed only via road under proper regulation by the administration and security forces,” the Divisional Commissioner here told reporters in a press conference.
He was flanked by Inspector General of Police Jammu Zone, Bhim Sen Tuti and other senior officers from police and administration.
