Allianz Group launches scholarship programme for German language students

Thiruvananthapuram, Oct 11 (UNI) In a major initiative to support academically meritorious students pursuing German language proficiency, the Allianz Group, one of the world’s leading insurers and asset managers, has announced 100 annual scholarships for students of the Goethe-Zentrum in Trivandrum.
The scholarship programme was officially launched at a function held at the Goethe-Zentrum today, where eight students from the first batch were presented with scholarships by Barbara Karuth-Zelle, Chief Operating Officer and Member of the Board of Management, Allianz SE, and Turan Sahin, CEO, Allianz Services.
The event was attended by Jison John, MD & CEO, Allianz Services India & Chief Delivery Officer, Allianz Services; Praveen Sasidharan, Chief Insurance Services Officer, Allianz Services; Jayant Tulsiani, Head of Branch, India (Allianz Technology SE); Thanooja Sasidharan, Head of CTO Delivery Teams, Allianz Technology India; Dr. Syed Ibrahim, Director, Goethe-Zentrum Trivandrum and Honorary Consul of the Federal Republic of Germany for Kerala; and G. Vijaya Raghavan, Chairman of Goethe-Zentrum and Founding CEO of Technopark.
