Bengaluru, Mar 10 (UNI) Karnataka Home Minister G Parameshwara on Monday confirmed the arrest of all three accused in connection with the Hampi gangrape case, stating that the third suspect, who was absconding, was traced in Tamil Nadu and apprehended.
"He will be brought to Bengaluru or Koppal. All three accused have been arrested," he told reporters.
Detailing the incident, Dr Parameshwara said the unfortunate event took place on the night of March 6 at around 10:30 PM. Four individuals, including two foreign nationals and two Indians, were staying at the Heartland Homestay in Hampi. After dinner, they proceeded to the Tungabhadra Dam premises for stargazing when they were confronted by three individuals demanding money.
