Al-Falah University distances itself from Delhi blast link

Chandigarh, Nov 12 (UNI) After links emerged between the Delhi blast and the recovery of explosives in Faridabad, Al-Falah University issued a detailed clarification, asserting that the institution has “no role whatsoever” in the incidents under investigation.
Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Bhupinder Kaur Anand confirmed that the two faculty members, Dr. Mujammil and Dr. Shaheen Saeed, have been detained by investigation agencies for questioning. “They are associated with us purely in their professional capacity. The university has no institutional connection with their personal actions,” she said.
The clarification follows reports suggesting that two suspects connected to the Delhi explosion and the seizure of 2,900 kg of explosives in Faridabad had professional links with the university. One of them, Dr. Mohammad Umar Nabi, reportedly died in an explosion inside his car.
