Akhilesh Yadav blasts UP Govt. for "fueling fertilizer Crisis, Corruption, and farmer distress"

New Delhi, Oct 16 (UNI) Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav today launched a scathing attack on the Uttar Pradesh BJP government, accusing it of deliberately orchestrating a fertilizer shortage that enriches black marketers and counterfeiters, while turning a blind eye to deep-rooted corruption.
In a sharp message posted on his official WhatsApp channel, Yadav charged, “The UP BJP government is manufacturing a fertilizer scarcity, benefiting black marketeers and counterfeiters who exploit the situation by flooding the market with fake fertilizers for double profit.” He added, “Massive corruption is rampant, yet the government remains indifferent—pointing to possible involvement of those in power.”
Yadav’s critique went beyond fertilizer woes, spotlighting a pattern of governance failures that have left farmers and youth bearing the brunt. He highlighted how the BJP’s policy of diverting fertilizers from the private to cooperative sectors has failed to alleviate shortages, instead paving the way for a thriving counterfeit market. “This crisis is a direct outcome of governmental mismanagement,” he asserted.
