Airport name tussle: Panvel Dy Mayor challenges CM Uddhav

Thane, Jul 12 (UNI) Tempers run high among the lakhs of villagers in Panvel over the demand for naming the new Airport after their revered leader DB Patil.

The Deputy Mayor of Panvel Municipal corporation, Jagdish Gaikwad, on Monday stated that Shiv Sena chief and Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray should not take the agitating villagers for granted, and warned that they can go to any extend to press for their demands and get it fulfilled.

Mumbai, June 22 (UNI) The officials of Mumbai Customs have arrested two Indian passengers who were allegedly found in possession of hydroponic weed (marijuana), with a total net weight of 11.981 kilograms, having an illicit market value of nearly Rs 12 crore, at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, sources said here on Sunday.
