Kolkata, Jan 14 (UNI) After ending 2020 with the best On-Time Performance (simple average basis DGCA 2020 reports) in Indian skies, AirAsia India kicked off the year by launching new flights connecting Kolkata, Bhubaneswar and Pune.
The airline added another feather to its cap by becoming the only airline to offer direct / non-stop flights between Bhubaneswar and Pune. Bookings for these sectors are open for sale and flights will be operational from 24th January 2021.
Speaking about the launch, Ankur Garg, Chief Commercial Officer, AirAsia India, said “We are delighted to announce the launch of new flights connecting Kolkata, Bhubaneswar and Pune. The flights are scheduled to ease the convenience of flying, with our fly-thru service enabling a connection between Kolkata and Pune. AirAsia India started operations from Bhubaneswar on 1-Aug-2017 and now connects Bhubaneswar to all our four hubs, i.e. Bengaluru, Mumbai, New Delhi and Kolkata."
