Air India crash: Ahmedabad airport shut off for over 3 hours

Mumbai June 12 (UNI) Soon after the crash of an Air India Ahmedabad-London Gatwick flight AI-171, all flight operations at the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport (SVPIA) were suspended for over three hours on Thursday.
“The SVPIA Ahmedabad, is currently not operational. All flight operations are temporarily suspended until further notice. Passengers are advised to check with their respective airlines for the latest updates before proceeding to the airport,” said a Spokesperson.
