AIMIM Prez urges Telangana Govt to Postpone Osmania University Exams Scheduled on Bakrid

Hyderabad, May 17 (UNI) Asaduddin Owaisi, President of the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM), on Sunday requested the Telangana government to postpone several degree examinations scheduled by Osmania University on May 28, as the date coincides with the festival of Eid al-Adha (Bakrid).
In a post on X, Owaisi appealed to Telangana Chief Minister Anumula Revanth Reddy and the Telangana Chief Secretary to reschedule the examinations, stating that conducting exams on the festival day would place students at a disadvantage.
The examinations currently scheduled on May 28 include: * BCom 4th Semester – Business Statistics; BCom 6th Semester – Accounting Standards & Corporate Governance; BSc Honours 4th Semester – Computer Science (Big Data); BSc Honours 6th Semester – Optimization Techniques; BSc Biomedical Science 4th Semester; BA (CBCS) 6th Semester – Mathematics and BSW (CBCS) 4th Semester – Social Work Methodology III.
