Aim to throw BJP out of power: MPCC chief

Mumbai, Jun 13 (UNI) Alleging that the Mahayuti (grand alliance) government has looted crores of rupees in the name of farmers, Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) president Nana Patole said on Thursday that it is important to unseat the BJP-led government from power in the state.
Talking to media in Nagpur, he further alleged that the Chief Minister brought the DBT scheme without inviting tenders and carried out the loot.
The government has no money to pay to farmers but loot is going on in their name, he charged.

Pangarkar contested from Ward 13 of the JMC, where he faced the BJP; however, the Shiv Sena, led by deputy chief minister Eknath Shinde, which contested separately in Jalna, did not field any candidate in this seat.
