AICC secretary Jetty Kusum Kumar rules out elections, says his focus Is on party organisation

Hyderabad, Nov 13 (UNI) Newly appointed AICC Secretary Jetty Kusum Kumar on Thursday made it clear that he has no plans to contest direct elections, saying his interest lies firmly in national politics and organisational work for the Congress.
Speaking to the media at Gadha Bhavan, he said the party leadership has entrusted him with responsibilities in both Odisha and Telangana, and specifically asked him to focus on GHMC-level organisational strengthening.
Kusum Kumar expressed confidence that Congress would win the Jubilee Hills by-election, adding that once EVMs arrive, “there will be no chance of rigging.” He said the party would also ensure its flag flies high in the upcoming Greater Hyderabad elections.
