AI to transform jobs, governance, growth globally: Rajeshwar Singh

Lucknow, Feb 16 (UNI) Describing Artificial Intelligence (AI) as a transformative force with far-reaching global impact, BJP MLA Dr. Rajeshwar Singh has claimed that the technology will redefine jobs, governance, and economic growth, making skill development and responsible adoption essential.
Highlighting global projections, he said that according to the World Economic Forum, around 23 percent of jobs worldwide are expected to undergo significant change by 2027.
He noted that while nearly 69 million new jobs may be created, about 83 million existing roles could be disrupted, underlining the need for large-scale reskilling and workforce adaptation.

Fake ‘CBI officer’ dupes Sitapur sub-inspector of Rs 15 lakh in digital arrest scam

Sitapur, Mar 11 (UNI) A sub-inspector posted at the Police Training College (PTC) in Sitapur was allegedly duped of around Rs15 lakh by cyber fraudsters posing as officials of central investigation agencies who threatened him with a “digital arrest.”
According to police, the victim, Sub-Inspector Narayan Singh, received a phone call around noon on February 20.
