Afghan Taliban rejects handover of Bagram Air Base to US amid President Trump's threats

Kabul, Oct 6 (UNI) The Afghan Taliban has firmly rejected US President Donald Trump's push to "take back" the former US Air Base in the town of Bagram, with group's chief spokesperson, Zabihullah Mujahid, in an interview with Sky News affirmed Kabul's stance, stating "Afghans will never allow their land to be handed over to anyone under any circumstances."

Trump had warned of stark retaliation back in September, warning Afghanistan that "bad things are going to happen" if they did not comply with his demand.
