Advanced QR Code–Based Footwear Management System Launched in Tirumala

Tirumala, Jan 13 (UNI) In a move aimed at enhancing pilgrim convenience and maintaining cleanliness, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) launched an advanced QR code–based footwear management system here on Tuesday.
Speaking to the media after inaugurating the new system, TTD Additional Executive Ch Venkaiah Chowdary said the initiative offers a permanent solution to the long-standing problem of footwear management faced by pilgrims on the Tirumala hill shrine.
The system, first introduced on a pilot basis at Vaikuntha Queue Complex–2, received an overwhelming response, following which eight QR code–based footwear counters have been established at key locations across Tirumala, he said.

Wind turbine maker Vayona Energy to supply 145 machines to Oyster Renewable totaling 64 8 MW

Chennai, Feb 16 (UNI) Wind turbine maker Vayona Energy on Monday said it has inked its first deal in the Indian market with the independent power producer (IPP) Oyster Renewable Energy Private Limited.
According to Vayona Energy, under the agreement, it will supply 18 SG 3.6-145 wind turbines, totaling 64.8 MW, for a project in Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh, along with a long-term operations and maintenance contract.
Neither company specified the order size in value terms.
