Active COVID-19 cases rise in Meghalaya

Shillong, Apr 1 (UNI) Active COVID-19 cases have been on a gradual rise in Meghalaya over the past few days with two more positive cases detected on Thursday.
Director Health Services (MI), Dr. Aman War said the two fresh COVID-19 cases were both detected in the East Khasi Hills district, including a tourist and another from the armed/paramilitary forces detected today took the active cases in the State up to fifty.
“One person also recovered from the viral disease in the East Khasi Hills on Thursday,” he further informed.
