ACB traps TSSPDCL official accepting Rs 35,000 bribe

Hyderabad, Mar 1 (UNI) The sleuths of Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) caught a junior accounts officer, TSSPDCL, Habsiguda, Hyderabad, on Friday when he was accepting a bribe of Rs 35,000.
Today at about 1420 hours, the accused officer (AO) Sama Vijayasimha Reddy was caught by the ACB when he demanded and accepted the bribe amount of Rs 35,000 from the complainant, M. Bharat, Artisen at the Office of the ADE, Nacharam, for showing official favor—"to"process and sanction the pending salary bill of the complainant," a ACB statement said.
The accused officer thereby performed his public duty improperly and dishonestly.
