ACB traps and arrests RDD employee while demanding and accepting bribe of R3000

Srinagar, Feb (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Anti Corruption Bureau on Thursday arrested an employee of Rural Development Department while allegedly demanding and accepting bribe.
ACB said they received a written complaint wherein it was alleged that Mohammad Ashraf Malik a resident of Shahpora Ganderbal and Computer Operator (presently assigned the job of MIS Operation) in the office of Rural Development Department Block Gund is demanding Rs 10,000 as bribe.
He allegedly sought the money to upload documents needed for the release of payment to the complainant for completing a project under the MGNREGA scheme at Kulmohar Qalwat near Masjid Sharief Chohan Mohalla, Harri Ganwan, Gund, Ganderbal.
