Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Khaled arrives at head of high-level ministerial delegation

New Delhi, Sep 8 (UNI) Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan arrived in Delhi on his first official visit, and was received by Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal.
The visiting UAE royal, who is here on a two-day visit, was accorded a ceremonial welcome.
The MEA spokesperson posted on X:
“A new milestone in a historic relationship.

“His Highness Shk Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi arrived in Delhi on his first official visit to India.

“Warmly received by @CimGOI @piyushgoyal and accorded a ceremonial welcome.”
Sheikh Khaled, who is visiting India at the invitation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is accompanied by a high-level ministerial and business delegation.
He will meet PM Modi on Monday (Sep 9) and hold discussions on a wide range of areas of bilateral cooperation. He will also call on President Droupadi Murmu, a statement said.
He will visit Rajghat to pay tribute to Mahatma Gandhi.
On September 10, the UAE Royal will visit Mumbai to participate in a Business Forum, in which business leaders from both countries will participate.
India and UAE share historically close and friendly ties. In recent years, the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between India and UAE has deepened in a wide range of areas including political, trade, investment, connectivity, energy, technology, education, and culture. The Crown Prince’s visit will further reinforce strong India-UAE bilateral relations and open avenues for partnership in new and emerging areas.
A UAE statement said: Sheikh Khaled will engage in discussions with senior Indian officials to explore opportunities to further strengthen cooperation across key economic sectors, building on the significant milestones already achieved for the mutual benefit of both countries and their people.
