Abhinav Sanjeev Shanmugam upset Artur Kukasian in Men's ITF tourney

Chennai, Jan 13 (UNI) Tenth seed local lad Abhinav stunned top seed Artur Kukasian in the final qualifying round of the Adityan ITF M25 International Tennis Tournament 2026 held at the SDAT Tennis Stadium Nungambakkam here on Tuesday and entered the main draw.
Earlier in the day final qualifying matches, which were affected yesterday due to rains, were completed, with Udit Kamboj, Aryan Lakshmanan and Aditya Balsekar, qualifying for the main draw.
In the main draw matches, which began today, Siddarth Rawat defeated fourth seed Karan Singh 5-7, 6-1, 7-6 (3) and moved into the second round.
