AAP targets BJP over deteriorating law and order in Delhi

New Delhi, Feb 18 (UNI) The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Wednesday alleged that the law and order situation in the national capital has deteriorated under the BJP government, claiming that incidents of murder and violent crime have increased in recent weeks.
AAP MLA Kuldeep Kumar accused the BJP-led administration and the Delhi Police of failing to curb crime in the city. He claimed that several murders have taken place since the beginning of the year and alleged that six killings occurred in a single day.
Referring to a recent incident in Nand Nagri, Kumar alleged that a father was shot dead while trying to save his minor son from being assaulted. He said the episode reflected what he described as growing fearlessness among criminals. According to him, people who intervene to stop violent incidents are now being targeted.
