AAP leader shot dead in Hoshiarpur, another person injured

Chandigarh, Jan 15 (UNI) A local Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) functionary was killed in a gun attack in Hoshiarpur district, while another person was injured, officials said on Thursday.
The incident occurred at a private hardware outlet located in Miani village. The victim, identified as Balwinder Singh Satkartar, was present at his shop along with an associate when the attack took place in the late afternoon.
According to initial police findings, three unknown individuals reached the location on a motorcycle. While one of them stayed outside to keep watch, the other two, with their faces covered, entered the shop and opened fire. Several shots were discharged in quick succession, leaving Balwinder Singh critically wounded.
