AAP leader alleges bribery at Delhi borders, calls GRAP a "scam" in pollution control

New Delhi, Jan 19 (UNI) Delhi State President of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Saurabh Bharadwaj, has leveled explosive allegations against the Delhi Police, accusing them of systematic bribery and directly undermining the city's fight against toxic air.
Bharadwaj posted a video on X claiming that the Delhi Police was taking a bribe.
He shared what he claims is video footage showing Delhi Police personnel taking bribes to allow "trucks full of construction material" to enter the capital.
He asserted that CCTV records would prove that at least 300 such trucks were allowed entry in a single night, in blatant violation of the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) restrictions currently in force to curb pollution.
"GRAP 4 is a Scam !! Here is last night’s video of Delhi Police taking a bribe & allowing entry of trucks full of construction material. CCTV footage will show that at least 300 trucks were allowed in one night. And this goes on the entire night in Delhi. They don’t give a shit about what pollution does to your children. Let’s see if @CPDelhi will suspend his DCP ?," he posted on X.
The tweet ends with a direct challenge to the Police Commissioner, asking if he will suspend the concerned DCP. The allegations, tagged with #DelhiPollution, have ignited a fresh political firestorm over the enforcement of pollution control measures in the national capital.
As of now, the Delhi Police have not issued an official response to the allegations.
