AAP alleges collapse of law and order in Delhi under BJP rule

New Delhi, Sep 13 (UNI) The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) today alleged that there was a complete breakdown of law and order in the national capital.
AAP MLA Sanjeev Jha said that Delhi is witnessing a surge in serious crimes under the current administrative structure.
Citing data from the Delhi Police, Jha claimed that from January to June this year, over 1.18 lakh First Information Reports (FIRs) were registered. This figure, he said, included 250 cases of murder, with incidents of murder and rape occurring almost daily. He also pointed to recent events, including a bomb threat at the Delhi High Court and frequent threats to schools, as evidence of a deteriorating security environment.
