763 BRTF sets up play room for labourers' kids in Tawang

Itanagar, Sept 12 (UNI) In an initiative that goes beyond road-building, the 763 Border Roads Task Force (BRTF) of the Border Roads Organisation (BRO) has established a Play & Learning Room (PLR) for the children of casual paid labourers working in road construction projects in Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh.
The high-altitude, rugged terrain of Tawang poses unique challenges, where women labourers contribute significantly to road-building activities while also managing the care of their young children. Often, these mothers are compelled to bring their children to work sites, exposing them to harsh conditions.
Recognising this dual burden and the need to safeguard children, the 763 BRTF has created a safe, child-friendly space within its premises. The Play & Learning Room has been designed to nurture young minds and provide mothers with peace of mind while they work.
