75 Nepal jail escapees apprehended by SSB at border, force maintaining strict vigil

New Delhi, Sep 13 (UNI) Around 75 Nepal jail escapees who had tried to enter into India, have been apprehended by the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) at the border, sources said on Saturday.
They were held from the Indo- Nepal border in states including Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and West Bengal.
So far, eight have been apprehended at the Indo- Nepal border in Uttarakhand, 22- Uttar Pradesh, 43- Bihar, and two - West Bengal, while they attempted to sneak-in to India through different checkpoints.
