66 MP nursing colleges to be shut, LoP slams Min in-charge

Bhopal, May 28 (UNI) The Madhya Pradesh government ordered shutting down of 66 nursing colleges on Tuesday, three months after the high court order over "irregularities" in affiliation prompting Umang Singhar, Leader of Opposition in the state Assembly to seek CM Monah Yadav's minister's resignation.
Accusing Medical Education Minister Vishvas Sarang of being protected, the Gandhwani MLA said Sarang should resign for having failed to stop the scam.
The district collectors and divisional commissioners have been given the list of 66 'unsuitable' colleges across 31 districts that have to be shut down.
