5.1-magnitude quake hits SW of Neiafu, Tonga

Nuku'alofa, Sep 23 (UNI) An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.1 jolted 34 km SW of Neiafu, Tonga at 2213 GMT on Friday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 132.5 km, was initially determined to be at 18.90 degrees south latitude and 174.18 degrees west longitude.
