353rd 'Shivrajyabhishek' celebrated with festivity at Raigad fort; Chhatrapati Shivaji's descendant attends

Kolhapur/Raigad, Jun 6 (UNI) The 353rd 'Shivrajyabhishek' (coronation) day of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj was celebrated with great enthusiasm and festivity today at the historic Raigad fort in Raigad district.
The coronation festival was held in the presence of Yuvraj Chhatrapati Sambhaji Raje, the 13th descendant of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, his son Shahajiraje Chhatrapati, and lakhs of "Shiv premi" devotees from different parts of the state, where Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj was crowned on June 6, 1674.
This day is celebrated to mark the anniversary day of 'Shivrajyabhishek' , when Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj was crowned in Raigad and started ruling over the Maratha empire and became the king of the Maratha empire.
