3 arrested in Nashik for trying to sell MD

Nashik, Nov 10 (UNI) Following the arrest of two pharmacists and marketers for allegedly smuggling mephedrone (MD) four days ago, three unemployed youth, including a policeman's son, have been arrested for allegedly trying to sell MD in a city hotel.
Accordng to police, the Nashik police have arrested suspects Shoaib Murad Khan (39, resident of Wadala), Sheikh Mustafa Afzal (19, resident of Khodenagar), Mofiz Muzzamil Khan (19, resident of Wadala Chowk) and seized 32 grams of MD worth Rs 1.60 lakh and other valuables were seized from the trio.
Meanwhile, acting on a confidential information that 'MD' smugglers were hiding at the Nashik Inn hotel on the Nashik-Pune road, the Anti-Narcotics Squad, Nashik Road and Upnagar Police Stations, along with Assistant Commissioner of Police Sandeep Mitke, jointly raided the hotel on Sunday. At that time, the three suspects were found carrying 'MD' in room number 305.

Norms for killing aggressive leopards, tigers to be relaxed soon: Minister Ganesh Naik

Prohibitory order in force in Kolhapur till Dec 22
