2nd India Reserve Battalion celebrates Silver Jubilee and Foundation Day

Dharamshala, Sep 14 (UNI) The 2nd India Reserve Battalion (IRB), Sakoh, Dharamshala, celebrated its Foundation Day and Silver Jubilee with a grand programme today.
On this occasion, a new "Children’s Park" was inaugurated by the children of the battalion, marking a special moment for the families of the personnel.
The event was graced by the Director General of Police (DGP), Himachal Pradesh, Ashok Tiwari (IPS), who was present as the chief guest.

Opium seized from motorcycle in Himachal's Nurpur, one held

Dharamshala, July 11 (UNI) Police in Himachal Pradesh's Nurpur district have arrested a 31-year-old man and seized 428 grams of opium during a crackdown on drug trafficking. The contraband was recovered from a motorcycle by a team from the Thakurdwara Police Post under Indora Police Station during a raid conducted on the basis of specific intelligence.
