22 Sri Lankan soldiers injured in bus-lorry collision

Colombo, Apr 21 (UNI) Twenty-two Sri Lankan soldiers were injured on Monday morning when the bus they were traveling in collided with a lorry in Gampaha District, located in the country's Western Province, police spokesman K.B. Manathunga said.
The official said that 20 of the injured soldiers were discharged from the hospital by Monday afternoon, while the bus driver and one soldier remained under medical treatment.
Manathunga added that the lorry driver has been taken into custody, and local police are continuing their investigation into the incident.
