22 Australian companies showcase cutting-edge clean energy solutions in India

New Delhi, July 10 (UNI) With an aim to deepen energy cooperation with India, the Australian Government trade and investment mission brought here 30 delegates representing 22 companies showcasing cutting-edge clean energy solutions.
The Australian new trade and investment mission took place in India this week building on the Anthony Albanese government’s commitment to create jobs and drive growth through stronger international partnerships, the Minister for Trade and Tourism Special Minister of State said in a statement.
The mission, one of five announced by Prime Minister Albanese, aims to deepen energy cooperation with India and capitalise on opportunities in the clean energy sector.
Led by the Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade) in partnership with the New South Wales and Victorian Governments, and supported by Queensland, South Australia and Western Australia, the mission will deepen the energy cooperation with India "one of our most important trade and investment partners", the statement added.
Australia is a world leader in clean energy innovation, and businesses are well placed to partner with India as it transitions to a low-emissions future. India has set a commendable target to install 500 GW of non-fossil fuel capacity by 2030, and Australian companies can play a key role in supporting that growth while opening up significant export opportunities, the statement added.
