20 Delhi Police officers, officials to receive President's Medals on R-Day

New Delhi, Jan 25 (UNI) A total of 20 Delhi Police officers and officials will be awarded the President's Medal for Distinguished Service and medal for Meritorious Service by President Droupadi Murmu on the occasion of Republic Day this year.
The President's Medals for Distinguished Service will be awarded to three officers, while the Medals for Meritorious Service will be conferred on 17 officers and officials, the Delhi Police said in a statement on Saturday.
Additional Commissioner of Police (IPS 2009) Asif Mohd. Ali, Assistant Commissioners of Police (ACP) Sanjay Dutt and Som Nath Paruthi will be honoured with President's Medals for Distinguished Service on January 26.
Assistant Commissioners of Police Kamlesh Bisht, Harendra Singh, Manoj Kumar, Adarsh Kumar and Inspector (Exe.) Rahul Kumar, women Inspector (Min.) Sheela Sharma, women Inspector (Tech.) R. Najma Tahira, Inspector (WO) Pradeep Singh, women SI (Exe.) Prabha, women ASI (Exe.) Rekha Rani will be among 17 recipients of Medals for Meritorious Service.
