2 IS militants killed in central Iraq

Baghdad, Mar 20 (UNI) Two Islamic State (IS) militants were killed and two others wounded on Wednesday in a clash with Iraqi forces in the central province of Salahuddin, the Iraqi military said.
Based on intelligence reports, Iraqi forces ambushed four IS militants in the rugged Balkana area in the northeastern part of the province and clashed with them, said the Iraqi Joint Operations Command's Security Media Cell in a statement late Wednesday night.
One of the killed militants was a suicide bomber wearing an explosive belt, while the two wounded fled the scene, the statement said.
