2 community radio stations established by Army inaugurated in J&K's Baramulla

Srinagar, June 22 (UNI) The Army has set up two community radio stations in Jammu and Kashmir's Baramulla district.
The Community Radio Stations at Baramulla and Uri, established by the Army's Baramulla-based Dagger Division, were inaugurated on Saturday by General Officer Commanding Chinar Corps Lt Gen Rajiv Ghai at a simple ceremony in Baramulla.
"With their tag lines as 'Radio Baramulla 89.6 FM—Alfaaz Hamare Ehsas Aapke' and 'Radio Uri 90.0 FM—Pahadon ki Dhun', these stations strive to provide a voice to the local communities and serve as vibrant platforms for locals, achievers, government schemes, news, and culture, in addition to being a medium for entertainment," the Army statement said.
