1995 batch IAS officers in UP promoted : Sanjay Prasad made ACS

Lucknow, Jan 12 (UNI) The Uttar Pradesh government has carried out a major administrative reshuffle, promoting five senior IAS officers of 1995 batch to Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) rank.
This decision by the government is considered significant, as the role of Additional Chief Secretary is crucial in policy formulation and departmental coordination. The officers who have been promoted have been given this responsibility based on their experience and competence.
According to an official notification issued on Monday 5 principal secretaries, including Principal Secretary Home and Information Sanjay Prasad have been elevated to ACS rank. Other IAS officers given ACS rank are Ashish Kumar Goel, Amrit Abhijat, R Ramesh Kunar and Mukesh Meshram.

FIR registered in Lucknow over objectionable social media post targeting Mayawati

Lucknow, Feb 11(UNI) An FIR has been registered at Krishna Nagar police station after an alleged objectionable post targeting Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) national president and former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati surfaced on social media. The complaint was filed by a party worker against a Facebook account named “Shreya Yadav.”
According to police officials, the case was registered following a written complaint submitted by Cantt Assembly President Gangaram Verma.
